Muslim Scholars for Malaysia PDF Print E-mail
The Minister Counselor of the Malaysian Embassy, Madame Che Khasnah, asked the Center for Moderate Muslims (CMM) through its President, Comm. Taha M. Basman, to assist in contacting the following Muslim students who passed the First Phase of the examinations and interviews given by the Al-Bukhari University in Malaysia. The CMM is one of the partner organizations tapped by the Malaysian Embassy in endorsing applicants to the scholarship grant.

The lucky students, who are scheduled to fly to Malaysia on or before December 2007 to enroll in their chosen fields of studies, must contact the Malaysian Embassy immediately through telephone number (02) 817-4581. These are the following candidate-scholars:

      1. Sittie Farhannal Mustapha
      2. Zayin M. Tediarus
      3. Alisandra M. Kanakan
      4. Al Javer Mangampo
      5. Noraiza Mangone Danglalan
      6. Jennifer K. Butuan
      7. Norhana B. Mangindalat
      8. Hanna P. Castino
      9. Olaf M. Mamuntuan
      10.Aljun L. Macala
      11.Bolka Nissan B. Taher
      12.Adawiya I. Kashim

The CMM is enjoining its volunteers in Davao, Zamboanga and Marawi City, where the examinations and interviews were undertaken, to contact the above-named students so they can submit the necessary requirements and information needed by the Malaysian Embassy. This community service is part of CMM’s program to open opportunities for the Muslim youth in the Philippines to avail of the very generous scholarship grants being offered by concerned Muslim institutions of higher learning in the international community.
