MRI/CMM signs MOA with TESDA Print E-mail
        The Mindanao Research Institute (MRI) represented by its President, UNESCO Commissioner Taha M. Basman and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority National Capital Region Muntiparlas-Tapat District (TESDA NCR) Director Ms. Josephine Casuga recently signed a Memorandum of Agreementat the TESDA offices at the TESDA Complex in East Service Road, Taguig City.  The signing was witnessed by Ms. Flor Tindoc and other officials on behalf of TESDA and Ms. Alibai Lumenda and Ms. Ommo Hani Usman on behalf of MRI. 
 

        The agreement calls for the Training of Muslim Men and Women from Maharlika Village in Taguig City in Livelihood Skills for better employment and entrepreneurial opportunities so that they can lead a self-reliant and productive life.   As with other MRI/CMM programs, training will take place at the Silangan Elementary School Annex in Maharlika, Taguig.  TESDA will provide the training curriculum and coverage and the qualified trainors for the said program.  Certificates of Completion will bear the TESDA and MRI logos.

       MRI, in partnership with CMM, directly implements day care program, sports, communication and technical vocational programs that are geared towards the integral formation of out-of-school Muslim Youth, men  and women to be productive, competitive  and value driven.
