CMM computer classes opens for registration Print E-mail
The CMM Computer Literacy Program (CLP) is open for registration for the Basic and Advance Computer Training. Classes are held at the Silangan Elementary School I in Maharlika Village, Taguig City. The program is now on its 5th year of giving computer literacy education for the community and has graduated more than 4,000 students. Many graduates are now employed locally and abroad, some have engaged in entrepreneurial activities with their computer education as their capital.

This year the program is now under the auspices of the Taha M. Basman Memorial Islamic Foundation (TMBMIF) in coordination with the Center for Moderate Muslims (CMM). As before, the courses are offered free to qualified participants but on a first-come, first-serve basis so everyone is enjoined to register early. The courses will run from January to March 2010.

Food for Thought

“…..The gap set up between the Muslims (Islam) and the rest of the world can be removed only by an open-minded approach to the Qur’an, Islam, and the Muslim situation. For a number of historical reasons, contact between the West and the Islamic World is increasing. The relationship must grow on a foundation of knowledge and objective understanding. In this period, bias and ignorance deserve to be seen more as a challenge to be overcome than obstacles to be helplessly lamented!...”
